General Certificateless Encryption and Timed-Release Encryption
نویسندگان
چکیده
While recent timed-release encryption (TRE) schemes are implicitly supported by a certificateless encryption (CLE) mechanism, the security models of CLE and TRE differ and there is no generic transformation from a CLE to a TRE. This paper gives a generalized model for CLE that fulfills the requirements of TRE. This model is secure against adversaries with adaptive trapdoor extraction capabilities for arbitrary identifiers, decryption capabilities for arbitrary public keys, and partial decryption capabilities. It also supports hierarchical identifiers. We propose a concrete scheme under our generalized model and prove it secure without random oracles, yielding the first strongly-secure SMCLE and the first TRE in the standard model. In addition, our technique of partial decryption is different from the previous approach.

A Brief Introduction to Certificateless Encryption Schemes and Their Infrastructures
Certificateless encryption is a form of public-key encryption that is designed to eliminate the disadvantages of both traditional PKIbased public-key encryption scheme and identity-based encryption. Unlike public-key encryption, there is no requirement for digital certificates or a public-key infrastructure. Unlike identity-based encryption, the trusted third party need not be given the ability...
متن کاملChosen-Ciphertext Secure Certificateless Proxy Re-Encryption
In this paper we introduce the notion of certificateless proxy re-encryption and also give precise definitions for secure certificateless proxy re-encryption schemes. We present a concrete scheme based on bilinear pairing, which enjoys the advantages of certificateless public key cryptography while providing the functionalities of proxy re-encryption. Moreover, the proposed scheme is unidirecti...
متن کاملEfficient Certificateless Public Key Encryption
In [3] Al-Riyami and Paterson introduced the notion of “Certificateless Public Key Cryptography” and presented an instantiation. In this paper, we revisit the formulation of certificateless public key encryption and construct a more efficient scheme and then extend it to an authenticated encryption.
متن کاملAuthenticated Key-Insulated Public Key Encryption and Timed-Release Cryptography
In this paper we consider two security notions related to Identity Based Encryption: Key-insulated public key encryption, introduced by Dodis, Katz, Xu and Yung; and Timed-Release Public Key cryptography, introduced independently by May and Rivest, Shamir and Wagner. We first formalize the notion of secure timed-release cryptography, and show that, despite several differences in its formulation...
